Maureen graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training and a Master’s Degree in Health Education. After completing college she attended the Pensacola School of Massage Therapy as a compliment to her athletic training degree. She has been a licensed massage therapist since 2001. She specializes in medical massage, orthopedic massage, sports massage, pre and post pregnancy massage, & Cranial Release Technique (CRT).
Maureen is also the Director of Ideal Protein at Absolute Health & Wellness, which is our medical weight loss program. Maureen and her husband were first introduced to Ideal Protein in July 2010. After having her first baby in 2008 and the extra weight just sticking, she finally lost the extra 30 pounds with Ideal Protein and finally felt comfortable again in her own skin while her husband lost 60 pounds! She has now had two additional children and the weight no longer sticks. This program is a lifestyle change and has been so fantastic for her entire family by helping to educate what healthy eating is all about. In March 2018, she added her Health Coach certification to further help her clients with habit changes that are so important.
Helping others has always been Maureen’s passion, so the Ideal Protein Program has been such an incredible compliment to the massage therapy. She looks forward to helping educate those ready for a healthy lifestyle change reach their own personal goals whether it be with balancing the body one muscle at a time with massage therapy or losing weight one pound at a time!
